This is about us

After a long time, sleep has again eluded me.

The energy that is surrounding me is making me think constantly, question, and after each answer that I am finding it is posing another question. 

I can feel an array of ancient guardians and mentors waiting in a circle around us, watching us, but no one is offering a solution despite knowing everything. 

This is about us. We need to figure this out. Question is how? What is it that you and I must do to break through, to shift the course of what was once set in motion?

And while searching, got this lingering question -

"What if life doesn’t give second chances, but only delayed destinies?"

What does this really mean?
