I want to do something different today. I want to woo you today or rather express a few things that I couldn't earlier. So, here's an attempted spoken words poetry. Hope you like it 😍

Your Smile

When I had made you blush

It was a sight to behold

The innocent, shy smile

The twinkle in your eyes

And that dimple in your cheek 

Made you so vulnerable 

So handsome

And

Oh! So, yummy!

When I was angry at you

And expressed it with a quote on the whiteboard 

You flashed that same smile

And in a cocky, confident voice 

Asked me mockingly

"Is that so?"

And I melted like an ice cube!

When I danced with you

Onto different tunes

I was intoxicated 

Not just on alcohol 

But with your same smile 

And wanted to soak it all in

With a hug that should have lasted a lifetime!

When I saw you riding your bike

Looking straight into my eyes

I couldn't look away

With heart racing, as I tried to hide my smile

You simply took me to another world

With the chords of your guitar 

And the same sweet smile!

When it was time to say goodbye 

I simply walked away 

Without looking back

Those steps were the hardest for me

To walk away from those twinkling eyes

And never to see you smile!

I hope you still smile the same 

And I hope I can someday 

Make you blush the same again.
